About MusikLetter
Hi! We’re MusikLetter, a group of high school students trying to make a small difference by sharing music and handwritten letters.
Musikletter began in Iowa because we wanted to reach out to people in need of an uplifting message. We perform live music and deliver handwritten cards that include recorded music, so even when we can’t visit in person, recipients know that someone is thinking of them. We share these messages with hospice patients, veterans, care staff, seniors, and anyone who could use a little comfort. Over time, we have expanded to have chapters in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Alabama.
Every MusikLetter we send is simple—a letter from one person to another, often with music that might bring back memories or offer a peaceful moment. Our hope is simply to remind people that they’re not alone and that someone, even a stranger, cares.

You don’t have to be a professional musician or writer — all students and guest musicians are warmly welcomed. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or love crafting thoughtful notes, your time and talent make a difference.

For School Choirs and Orchestras
MusikLetter would love to partner with your school to host a MusikLetter Performance or Care Card Writing event!
We provide blank care cards for your students to write messages to veterans, patients, care staff, and anyone who could use a warm note.
If your choir or orchestra is ready to record a song, we’d be thrilled to include it with care cards and share the performance with our recipients.
